Post-Game Pokecheck for October 2, 2019: VGK Home Opener vs San Jose Sharks

The Golden Knights exacted some revenge on the San Jose Sharks in their 4-1 victory over the team in teal With key forwards Alex Tuch and Cody Eakin injured coming into the game, the last thing they needed was for their top defenseman, Nate Schmidt, to be rendered unavailable. Unfortunately, just ten minutes into the first period, a questionable knee-on-knee collision with Logan Couture would leave the Knights short staffed. Meanwhile, Cody Glass, the Golden Knights first-ever draft pick scored his first goal in his first NHL game, and looked like could be a difference maker for Vegas immediately.
