Not satisfied with merely embarrassing the Sharks on national television for the Vegas home opener, the Golden Knights took the fight to San Jose and took a pound of flesh in front of their home crowd. In a 5-1 victory over their biggest rivals, all four lines were rolling and producing while the defense remained stalwart. Alex Tuch, Cody Eakin, and Nate Schmidt are still injured, making room for the debut of the Golden Knights 2017 2nd round pick, defenseman, Nick Hague.
