Golden Knights Watch Off-Season Content Plans

It is difficult for me to put my frustration at the end of the Knights’ season into words. I can’t put the blame for the loss of the series squarely on the refs. At the same time, there were at least two blown calls in that directly led to losses in two separate series-clinching games. On the other hand, the defensive breakdowns during one 5-minute major are simply unacceptable.

Those of us at all started creating hockey content solely as fans, and with your support launched a website this year that gave us a platform to write articles, produce a podcast, create highlight reels, and engage with all of you. Bringing you the Gospel of Gusev has been some of the most fun I’ve had on the internet, and pushing out prospect updates brings me endless satisfaction.

While the season ended on a very sour note, we’re planning to bring you content throughout the long off-season, including podcasts, prospect profiles, draft previews, highlight videos, opinion pieces and more. I don’t expect to write much about these playoffs soon except as it applies to other topics. It’s just simply too raw at the moment. I’m just going to make clear that I think that the NHL needs to implement an automatic video review of all 5-minute majors which aren’t for fighting. If there are any topics that you are particularly interested in reading or hearing about, send me a message on twitter @NHLJackManning or leave a comment below.

Thank you all for your support and continued discussion about this outstanding franchise. Next year will be better.
